Almost seven years since my last post! And since then the site hosting my blog (jroller.com, RIP) has gone down.
But now I'm back(ed up by github). It feels great to use version control for hosting this site.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to restore readers' comments from my backups. But future comments will be safe as github issue comments (thanks to utteranc.es by Jeremy Danyow). A github account is needed for commenting (at least for now), but since I'm mostly blogging about programming, that shouldn't be a problem to my potential target audience.
Comments are welcome, either publicly on this site or privately to my firstname at lastname dot org email address. Oh, and you can also subsribe to the RSS feed.
